Kling 4.0 AI Video Generator
Kling 4.0 is the new video model from Kuaishou’s Kling AI. It generates 3 to 30 seconds of video in a single pass, with stereo sound and lip sync, steadier large-scale motion and more control through references and keyframes.
Status: coming soon
Kling 4.0 is not available on SCAIL-2 yet. Its developer API is only starting to roll out, and we will add it as soon as we can run it reliably. Leave your email and we will tell you once, the day it goes live. Until then you can use the models that already work today.
What Kling 4.0 can do

- 3 to 30 seconds per generation, no stitching (Kling 3.0: up to 15 s)
- 720p output today, always with two-channel stereo audio and lip sync
- Aspect ratios 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 21:9
- Omni Reference: up to 15 inputs (up to 10 images, 5 videos and 7 elements)
- Up to 10 keyframes along the timeline, plus start and end frames
- Modes: text to video, image to video, reference to video and video editing

- 1080p and native 4K output, 10-bit HDR
- Extension up to 2 minutes

How long can a Kling 4.0 video be?
From 3 to 30 seconds in a single generation. Kling has announced extension up to 2 minutes as coming soon.
Does Kling 4.0 support 1080p or 4K?
Output is 720p today. 1080p, native 4K and 10-bit HDR are announced as coming soon.
Does Kling 4.0 generate audio?
Yes. Every video comes with two-channel stereo audio: dialogue, singing, sound effects and ambience, with lip sync.
Is there a Kling 4.0 API?
Kling has started rolling out a Kling 4.0 API and published per-second prices, but full documentation and partner API access were still arriving as of October 22, 2026.
